Error Handling and Error Logging

TB API logs all non-routine file I/O errors to the Windows NT Event Log.

The Windows NT Event viewer is accessed through the Control Panel / Administrative Tools.

After you open the Event Viewer, you will see a selection of three Event Logs: Application, Security and System.

You will then see a list of events ordered by time. Each event description contains the name of the source application; we are interested in all events from Source WhamTech.

Double click on the event that you want to view, and you will see:

In either case, the critical information is included in the display. Your WhamTech representative may request that you send a screen shot or other electronic representation of this dialog.
