WhamTech consists of a core group of people focused on leveraging the competitive advantage of EIQ Products™' unique data and information index and query technology, and in-sourcing and outsourcing external technical and business expertise on an as-needed basis.  WhamTech offers a dynamic combination of proven business and management experience, a highly effective development team, and innovative real-time data virtualization, federation, integration and interoperability technologies.  All EIQ Product™ software code has been developed in the US.

Mark Armstrong, CEO and President

Mark Armstrong, CEO and President

As CEO and President, Mark is responsible for operations, sales and finance at WhamTech. As a graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in economics, he started his career as an investment banker with Boettcher and Company. Over the next 5 years, Mark gained experience in acquisitions, finance, and healthcare before forming an operational and financial management consulting company in 1990, where he worked on various projects including the Landmark Bankruptcy. He then became COO for Dalfort Aviation in 1993. While at Dalfort, Mark oversaw the development of plans for McDonald Douglas to set up an operation in Dallas. Mark then joined WhamTech in 2000 as President. Mark also serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Adaptive Training Foundation.

Gavin Robertson, CTO and SVP

After earning a BSc (Hons) in Chemical and Process Engineering and a MEng in Petroleum Engineering both at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, Gavin spent more than 15 years in the domestic U.S. and international oil and gas industry, often working with data-related projects. After a period as a consultant to WhamTech, Gavin joined as CTO and Senior VP in 1999, responsible for product design and development, and technical sales and marketing.

Larry King, CFO AND COO

Larry joined WhamTech as CFO and COO in June 2015. After graduating with a degree in accounting from Babson College in Boston, Larry began his career at a Dallas-based CPA firm before founding KBA Group, where he spent the next 28 years growing the firm into one of the largest CPA firms in Dallas. After merging KBA into BKD, a national CPA firm, he continued to serve as the Dallas office Managing Partner until accepting a role leading the South Region Transactions Services Group for BKD before joining the WhamTech team. Larry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, National Association of Corporate Directors, and Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance. Mahesh Moturu, VP of Product Development and Technical Services

Mahesh Moturu, VP of Product Development and Technical Services

Mahesh serves as VP of Product Development and Technical Services at WhamTech. Mahesh earned a BS in Electronics and Communications, a Masters in Computer Science and Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington, and was Valedictorian of his Executive MBA class at SMU. Upon graduating from UTA, he joined CalTex Software, later acquired by Seagate Technology, where he helped develop a WhamTech legacy database product that eventually led him to join WhamTech. Mahesh continues to add quality projects to his over 20 years of experience in data management software and to his over 15 years in technical and product management.
